Wow! Today I was a cabin boy (girl) for this Earle person. He was pretty nice, but his room!
He had this picture of this thing with smoke coming out of its top. It looked sort of like this:
I didn't quite understand what this was supposed to be, but I just turned away and got back to work taking out Augustus Earle's paints. There was also a painting fo women with dresses that had this big puff in the back. I wondered why anyone would want to make their bottom look bigger; the thought puzzled me. Then, I decided, no more looking at strange paintings, but at that moment, I noticed another painting...No. No more paintings. But it looks shiny. And it's got pictures of pointy things and sticks with round things on them. Here, this is what it looked like:
It's weird. Why are the pitchforks next to those circles? and what about those sticks with circles on them? Weird. Just then, Mr. Earle sent me on a series of errands which kept me busy all day. And then, I got back. Here I am.
