Dear Diary,
    Today I came across an interesting and confusing discovery. I found a brand new Timex watch. The only reasonable explanation for its appearance on deck could be that it was in the time travel bush and I must have kicked it through with me from the modern world. I'm going to be very careful about hiding my discovery of the watch from others on the ship. I don't want to freak anyone out. This leads me to think that there must be someone else on the ship that is also from the modern world. Maybe I can make a friend for the trip. Here comes Augustus Earle. I've got to go.
