Dear Diary,
    Today was a wondrous day! We crossed the Equinoctial line, and survived! A ceremony was held to pay tribute to King Neptune so he would let us pass safely.
   All who never crossed the Equator before presented themselves to King Neptune and his court. We dressed up in costumes, and we made a funny skit. I couldn't even help myself from laughing. I was the lead in the skit. I was the hero, but I had some stage fright. I dressed up as a man with a magic wand. I had a wife, and a dog. There was an evil person hitting others with his deadly fan. The evil person came for revenge, after my dog Skippy peed on his lawn. The evil person was hitting my wife on the head dozens of times. Then, I saved my wife by touching my magic lasar wand to the evil person. The evil person dropped down dead.
   We pollywogs made King Neptune and his Court laugh! King Neptune gave us a certificate to protect us from tolls, fines, or taxes. We are also protected from the cruel monsters of the deep. We are no longer pollywogs!
   Not bad for a day in the life of a princess.
