Well after failing at poetry, there was some scuffeling around farther up, and I slipped on my crew uniform so that I would be able to fit in, if i later tried to roam about. (Your legs get stiff after hiding in a hold.) After slipping into my uniform, I put Fred back into his old container, so he would fit in my pocket. Then, I got a suddun surprise. A strangly-drawn man fell through a loop in the Stofer interface, of which shall be explained in this picture:
The blue part is where my visitor fell in through the wormhole and the red is where he came out, but not after throwing a rope through. With the rope, he could climb out through a magic hole in the gunroom floor, which is shown in purple. I surmised that it connected back to the blue, making a magic one-way portal from purple to blue, and blue to red.
He flashed a cool-looking scimitar at me, and I waved my shotgun at him saying stuff like "Don't run" and "You can't escape". So, he jumped back into the purple area, and probably thinks I'm in debt to him for some reason. (I think the wormhole might have done that...)
Now I had something to work with—there was a bit of rope sticking though a invisible portal, and as I pulled it, it tore the fabric of the wormhole, revealing that it went through the ceiling and into the gunroom, where it dissappered into midair. I separated some of the rope fibers and pulled apart the portal. (See the figure below)
Now, I started with the first, then for the second I pulled apart the rope bits and wrapped them around my arm and pushed. This opened up a clear opening into the gunroom, where a similiar portal had opened into the captain's storeroom. Now that I had a magic portal to three different places, I felt like I should have some fun... though, that's when things went weird.
