"Aaaaah!!!!" Valicia screamed as a pig ran past her, followed by Janis Cooper. They bumped shoulders, knocking Val onto the floor of the slop room. What was a pig doing in the slop room?
³Got ya!² Janis said happily as she caught the animal ruining everyone's clothes.
Val sighed, staring at her sailor uniform. The shirt was mostly white, with blue stripes around the collar (by collar I mean the part that goes around the neck and is the wavy cloth thingy in the back) and a blue scarf. Not my style, Val thought glumly. The pants and socks were completely white, and her shoes were to be what appeared to be brown leather work boots. Disgusting.
"So, aside from this, and what I'm wearing now leaves one change of clothes. Those might be better than this ugly thing," Val decided. As she went through her stuff, she found her change of clothes. (I'll try to describe it but I'll give a model, anyway) The shirt was similar to the sailor uniform, however, the collar was black with white stripes and her scarf was yellow. Instead of plain white pants, she wore a long pleated black skirt and chose to wear the work boots, rather than her dress shoes, which surprisingly matched. Thatıs more like it!

However, the skirt is black, collar is black and there are two stripes, not one, and scarf is yellow. Oh, and the cuffs of the sleeves are black. (The scratched out thing was a pair of shoes)

She left the slop room dressed neatly and ready for work, whatever that may be. As it turned out, her job was kitchen duty. Meaning, sheıd help cook, clean the kitchen, and serve food. Mostly serve food, and clean. She only cooked if they needed more portions fast, which wasn't too often. For work, she wore an apron, and tied her hair up in various ways, being usually a ponytail.
Mainly due to her personality, Val didn't really make any friends, but that didn't seem to bother her. She was used to it. Maybe this voyage wonıt be so bad after all...
