To my long private friend,
Today the captain is relaxing and oh, do I have a lot to tell about my past week on the ship. I find my story about Mary Tuna, Fuegia, and two little friends...(Well maybe seven)...
Well, I was minding my own business as usual and all of the sudden I heard some crying from the nearby sheep. It turns out that little Vinny the sheep was having some diarrhea. Mary and Fuegia came in on the job. I had asked them to help me earlier in the week and she had said she would be happy to help. I asked them if they would mind going to Arianel for some herbs; they rushed out of the room and in a short time the two returned with some slightly purple looking herbs. I mixed it up with Vinny's food and made sure he was doing all right before I put his food down. He seemed fine but little bit shaky, I thought it would be okay to put a little bowl for him down. He soon then seemed a bit more cheerful and a little less shaky.
Well, isn't it odd how all of the animals are acting a bit odd? Elfin was a bit hyper, even aggressive, and she never was before. I put down a few warm but a little baggy blankets I had been snuggling in overnight. She made a little nest out of it and became a bit calm. I realized I had gotten a bit hungry so I left the room and looked for some vegetables.
Ok, you would think there were only rats to eat around here, but nope, being a Cabin's boy you get the gourmet dish. My meal was some vegetables, fresh fruit and some homemade soup. Yummy! I quickly had some nice warm potato and leek soup and licked my lips. Uh oh, there she goes again! Lucky just put her little wet nose in my soup! Next time I won't sit on the floor! I could let her have it...
I decided to return to little Elfin, Oh Elfin!!! I soon said "You have piglets!!!!! Aw, they are so cute and you had five little pink ones! Four male and one little girl! I will put a little blanket on you and maybe move them so you don't step on them. What little darlings they are!" I then put them in a little food dish. They are sitting on a nice warm blanket with little stars on it. I heard Mary Tuna come in and she got that bubbly feeling that you get when you see something irresistible to cuddle! She picked up the little girl and asked if she could have him. I nodded and said as long as she lets her mother visit him every day. She smiled and decided to name her Poena! What a cute name!
I am off to tell my story! I'll write more later!
